Target completion date:

Prospective PLs, please see the Guide for Proof-listeners.

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

It has been many years since my teenage self devoured as much Lovecraft as I could get my hands on. Time to revisit, perhaps. Could I DPL this one?

Thanks,
Winnifred

One change for Chapter 1: at 11:34, I hear “… and after a brief explanation that ancient gentleman was kind enough to pilot me…” but the text reads “… and after a brief explanation that ancient gentlewoman was kind enough to pilot me…” As the same sentence earlier names her as Miss Anna Tilton, you’d better correct this.

I vaguely remember reading this one, but I don't remember how it ended, so it's as good as reading it for the first time.

Cheers,
Winnifred

And one change also for Chapter 2: at 11:27, I hear “…and whose detailshad been reported and recorded.” But the text reads “…and whose deaths had been reported and recorded.” This seems different enough to warrant correcting.

Cheers,
Winnifred

The first two should be fixed now and 3 - 5 are up!

Chapters 1 through 4 are PL OK. Spent a lovely afternoon listening to the last three chapters.

One change for Chapter 5: At 2:08, I hear “It seemed that a maternal uncle of mine had been there many years before on a quest much like my own; and that my grandfather’s family was a topic of some local curiosity.” But the text reads “It seemed that a maternal uncle of mine had been there many years before on a quest much like my own; and that my grandmother’s family was a topic of some local curiosity.” I think this change might confuse your listeners, and warrants correcting.

Thanks for another enjoyable read!

Cheers,
Winnifred

I also need section titles, unless they are going to just be I, II, and so forth. I can get those done whenever.
