I would love to have you in the cast for this project, but Tomas got in ahead of you on Mr. Armitage. Might either of the other open roles interest you, Larry?

Rapunzelina, I may have uploaded a file named https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/speckledband_holmes_1.mp3 in error. If I have, could you delete it, please?

Either I'm blind or the messages get scrambled because I made sure this wasn't claimed, and spent some time going over the script. Argh.

However that may be, you can put me in for Mr. Brewer, foreman of the jury - Act 1.

I do owe you a message, but I'll wait until I get back from my mission trip next week.

I’m sorry to hear that you had this experience. I really appreciate your flexibility in selecting a different character! You’re in the MW.

Well, here you go, the Foreman of the jury, a man of few words on a single thought, it seems.

Here's Mrs. Staunton, all three acts:

Let me know if there's anything odd about Act 3. My Audacity started acting up when I was exporting it (kept changing my settings to stereo, so I restarted Audacity. But it did it again when I reopened, and when I changed it back to mono and exported, the Checker told me that my volume was too low, despite ReplayGain saying it was fine. So in the end, I just amplified by 3 to get it within range. Something weird going on there.) Hopefully, it hasn't affected the file.

Cheers,
Winnifred

my guess is an accidental click on the left-hand side, on the L-R slider. It changes the balance of the left-right volume so the resulting export is in stereo.
