Thank you!
I've put this in the MW Ready for PL, but we do request in our instructions that you include the file length, mm:ss, when you post a link to a recording.
Sorry, I know the drill, I just forgot to apply it. It's 4:40.

Welcome to LibriVox, Robundle.

You're off to a good start with Chapter 12. No corrections needed. It's PL OK.

I'd like to take Section 15, "The Railroad Crossing."

Thanks.

Greetings -

Just a couple of notes on Chapter 15:

At 04:12, there is a seven-second pause that needs to be trimmed down.

The silent period at the end of the recording needs to be five seconds long.

Great job with the voices of the different animals. Really added to the story.

Waiting for more from you. :-)

Hi,

I would like to record "The Ant Lion" if it is still available.

Cheers

Thank you for your interest in this project.

We do, however, request that our new readers first complete a one-minute test recording to check out all of your technical specifications and any reading issues.

New to recording? Please read our Newbie Guide to Recording!

Here is a direct link to instructions for the one-minute sample recording:
https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=1-Minute_Test

Among the useful information there you will find instructions for completing your test recording. Once you have the "OK" on that,
you will be free to record in a project. This project is actually now full, but I will be launching another David Cory book soon, and there are many other short works to consider. When making your first claim, after completing your sample recording, be sure to let us know how you would like to be listed in the LibriVox catalog -- real name, pseudonym, or any nickname/handle you wish. This is how you will be credited for all of your LV work.

Thanks! And sorry again. I'm a bit rusty, not having submitted for a while.
I listened all the way through and checked the timing. Cleaned up, ready to go...

Timing now is 4:33

Here are Chapters 16 and 17: Madam Mason Wasp and Mr Tent Maker Caterpillar:

https://librivox.org/uploads/alg1001/jackrabbitandcrow_17_cory_128kb.mp3 (3:45)

I must say, Chapter 17 is rather grim for that poor caterpillar!

Cheers,
Winnifred
