The Last Chronicle of Barset, by Anthony Trollope

[The Last Chronicle of Barset is a novel by English author Anthony Trollope, published in 1867. It is the sixth and final book in the Chronicles of Barsetshire series, preceded by The Small House at Allington. The novel is set in the fictional county of Barsetshire and deploys characters from the earlier novels, whilst concentrating on the personnel associated with the cathedral. The main narrative thread is catalysed by the loss of a cheque which had been in the possession of the Reverend Josiah Crawley, and the subsequent reactions of his friends and enemies. Trollope drew inspiration from his father and mother in the creation of the Rev. and Mrs. Crawley.[1] In his autobiography, Trollope regarded this novel as "the best novel I have written."] (Summary by )[Wikipedia]

If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Nick,

In the upper right hand corner of each post that YOU have made is a little pencil. Click on that pencil and you'll be able to edit it.

I've made you the author of the first post so that you can edit it.

I'm going to move us to going solo since our team is complete.

Hi

At last we are off!

I have discovered why my recordings sounded echoey - I uploaded a new version of Audacity and, without my knowledge, it changed the microphone so it was using the mike associated with my camera. So not only was I using an inferior mike, but also I wasn't speaking into it!

Everything seems to have changed a bit, including how to edit the Solo screen!

Anyway, here is Chapter 1 - 3rd attempt - which I hope is now ok!
