Dear Natalie,
This is a good recording. I love the way you find a word to pivot on, it takes the stress and pause and then the reading carries one.
I also love the way you vary the end of lines, running them together or stopping for a pause. This creates the underlying rhythm
that you hang your interpretation of the words on.

This is a simple poem, not given to great excesses. But your reading made it alive - which is all that the listener can ask for.
