Greatest wonders of the world, by Esther Singleton (1865 - 1930)
A selection of descriptions of famous, and not so famous, natural beauty spots, as described by various travelers of the nineteenth century, some on voyages of exploration and some sightseers. Travelers include William Makepeace Thackeray, Charles Dickens, Sir Richard F. Burton and Alexandre Dumas. (Summary by LynneT)

Ha! I just saw this on Gutenberg yesterday and instantly thought it would be a great LV project! So glad you've put this together.

I've recorded one of my chapters but I have one question before I upload. Should I keep the last sentence, the one in italics? From I understand, they mark the source of the fragment? In this case "From Edinburgh to the Antarctic—An Artist’s Notes and Sketches during the Dundee Antarctic Expedition of 1892-3 (London, 1894)"
