7A2c3Ml wrote: March 15th, 2024, 7:32 am Oops, Section 9, I mean. I've correct that slip.
Renee seems to have gotten herself into a right pickle. It amazes me how often the upper class would pretend to be rich but actually running around scrambling because they were spending beyond their means. That would stress me out to no end

Here are your PL notes for Section 9 :):

00:05 repeat "translated by Henry Vizitelly"
28:03 stumble "at hand"
38:32 repeat "she"
49:58 stumble on "conservatory"

Also, there is an error in the file name. Currently, it is rushforthespoil_09_zola)128kb when it needs to be rushforthespoil_09_zola_128kb

Here are your PL notes for Sections 10 & 11

Section 10:
  • 8:10 repeat "and Hippolytos"
  • 21:11 This change is not required, only if you want to fix it, as pronunciation is not something we proof listen for. I just thought it would be useful for you to know going forward. In the recording, you pronounce "row" as if it rhymed with "toe". In British English when "row" is used to mean an argument, it is pronounced like it rhymes with "wow"
Section 11:
  • 21:55 repeat "and looking out of the corner of his eye at Renée who seemed"
  • 28:21 repeat "You must judge him rather superficially"

Section 12 is ready!
Once again, the connection between personal and public is made perfectly! The "rush" for the food, which occurs near the end of the section, mirrors the "rush for the spoil" theme.

Here are your PL notes for Section 12 :D:

6:59 end of "sister" cut off

39:36 "old as old as the world the secretary re-" This audio needs to be deleted since it is out of place (You accidentally skipped a paragraph before realizing your mistake and going back).
