Here's The Girl for "Hills Like White Elephants": https://librivox.org/uploads/redrun/drcollection5_whiteelephants_thegirl.mp3 (6:22)

Longest DR I've done so far. Let me know if you want more/less emotion in any of the lines.

Cheers,
Winnifred

Thank you, Larry! It is perfect as it is. Very well read with just the right touch of emotion! I might have had a catch in my throat when you read the line about never seeing his baby. Bob is PL-OK!

Certainly PLOK and may I say that your 'wild scream of a terrified woman' frightened the bejeebers out of me. I don't know if you are doing the editing for the project yourself; if not, then I do think that the placement of the scream at around 0:48.5 is a tad too close to the preceding line (“‘Well, it is of no great consequence, at any rate.’ ). I was totally caught off guard and considered at first that the lock turned by the key might benefit from oiling. Of course it became clear that the scream is meant to be included in Helen Stoner's narration a little later on. But, if you are editor you of course are aware of all this. Why can't I just come to point and stick around there? And why should that be a question for you. PLOK
