at 0:28 please add "In Carniola, bees swarm early" after "A Profitable Apiary" which former is part of the Section Title.
Could I just check if this is right... I feel like if I did this it would seem like the section title was "A Profitable Apiary In Carniola, bees swarm early", which isn't quite right - "A Profitable Apiary" and "In Carniola, bees swarm early" are two separate sections.

Perhaps it would be better to say: "A Profitable Apiary and In Carniola, bees swarm early".

Alternately, I could add the title "In Carniola, bees swarm early" at the beginning of that section at 4:52.

Well, let me jump in here to give another perspective, probably something I should have clarified in the reading instructions.

Dividing these periodicals into sections is sometimes problematic and a bit awkward because of these little filler blurbs that don't have titles and are too short to stand alone so they get tacked onto the end of something. But usually the title in the intro should be read as it is given in the magic window. The division can be indicated by pacing and inflection, or to make it clearer to the listener, it is okay to say, "and," again using one's voice to indicate that these are two separate items. Then, after the combined intro, give the title of the first piece, and then the title of the second piece when one comes to it.

So, I think your solution, "A Profitable Apiary and In Carniola, bees swarm early," is good, although I have no problem with just the way you have it. If you do add that, then I think you need to repeat the title of the first article just before you start reading for clarity. Since there is a clear ending to the first piece and the beginning of the untitled paragraph, I think you can leave that as it is.

I try to approach this from the standpoint of the listener. Does the way I read this make sense to someone just listening?

You have a great reading style, so I hope we'll hear a lot more of your voice here on LibriVox!

This actually clears things up for me, I think the mistake I made was not looking at the section title as it appears in the magic window, so I thought I was being asked to say

"A Profitable Apiary In Carniola, bees swarm early"

which didn't make sense to me, but what was actually being asked for was:

"A Profitable Apiary / In Carniola, bees swarm early"

which does make sense, and I can 'pronounce' the forward slash by leaving a big pause and changing the tone of voice.

My mistake! I'm now happy to do it as brownrottger asked.

Thanks,
Katie

Hello,
I submitted Section 2 of Delayed Fecundation on March 7th. Just wondering when it will be PL'ed? Here's the recording again:

Just to confirm, Larry, did you want the reader to omit the little blurbs at the end of page 51?

I didn't specifically ask for them to be included because they are just internal notices, so they may be omitted, but if they are included, that is fine as well.
