Section 1: Very enjoyable listening! Just two edits:
Reduce beginning silence to .5-1 second.
4:35 "I then reinserted the combs and released the queen ..., andon the 23rd, drone brood, in the cells."

Remember to do the latter edit first to preserve the time stamp.
Best,

I have reduced the initial silence:

As for the silence after 4:35, I am at a loss to explain it. My local copies, including this new mp3, are not silent there: there is sound about worker brood on the 20th of June. Is it possible there is a software issue on my end? I am using Audacity 2.4.2 to encode the mp3.

I just remembered I downloaded the first-submitted mp3 from the server to my iphone SE. It’s background-noisier than I thought, but there is no 4:35 silence on this device at that timestamp.

Sorry my bad it was a repeat of that text at that timestamp.

Wow.. how the heck did I miss that?

https://librivox.org/uploads/brownrottger/beejournalmar1861_01_various_128kb.mp3 duration 15:34

(Why the discrepancy in duration? I made a typo in the first submission. What a pattern!)
