The reader said he is managing the technical aspects.
Yes, I realized that I'm doing only a 'standard' listening so I don't have to follow along but for the preface I did anyway and noticed that small error.
I understand. We definitely encourage readers to check their own work, but checking again is exactly what we have Proof Listeners for. You can check the tech specs without using the Checker tool (though it is very convenient), but checking them is part of what you're signing up for.

If that's OK by you, then we'll continue the arrangement. :)
I'll be out for a bit on this last weekend of April, but still checking in as I get the chance. I will try to follow up on Monday, with anything I can't do on the go.

Alright, sounds like a plan! And thank you, for understanding.

Readerad, a quick reminder for you: please also post in the thread, when you update the Magic Window.

RoundTableKnight,

I appreciate your high degree of scrupulousness with corrections. Please keep it up! On a separate note, I think it's better to make your corrections in this comment thread rather than directly in the magic window.

Chapter 2, Section 1 complete.
25:25 misread - should be 'in view' rather than 'in light'
33:42 inserted word - read 'the English FLEET forget." There is no 'FLEET.'
39:55 pronunciation - 'halcyon' should be with a soft 'c'
