Prospective PLs, please see the Guide for Proof-listeners.

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Anne is very kindly going to act as MC. Anne, a question for this project and future ones: the only wiki page for the author is in Spanish, so that's what I've entered in the project template. Is it handled differently if an author info page is in Spanish? If English is preferred you could use the bio in the Hathi link, which prefaces the poems.

A note for any prospective DPL: I've not pre-recorded this project, so it won't get rolling immediately.

I looked at several authors and the wiki link in their language seems common,

Excellent, one less thing to worry about. That is likely to come up again at some point, so it's good to know!

I will try again later, but at the moment I'm not allowed into the MW. Is that just me? Either way, there's zero rush. This project has only just launched.

Sections 1-6 are ready for PL. Thanks again, Bruce, for taking on these wild cards. You said you liked Laurence Hope, but these new poets are very much an unknown quantity and I appreciate your adventurousness.

Sections 1 to 6 are elegantly and expressively read as befits a poet of Cabrera's talent. Well done.

There is one thing I should mention. I'm not hearing the end of book extro on the last poem. I'll mark the others PL OK.

Thanks,
Bruce.

Section 6 is PL OK. Thank you for bringing forth the talent of Rafael Cabrera. These excellent poems are made all the more appealing by being so skilfully read.

Thank you so much, Bruce. I appreciate your care and attention, especially when trying to give these forgotten authors a small boost.
