Hello John. It's always good to hear (from) you. There's a minor glitch with Chapter 14:johnb2 wrote: ↑April 17th, 2024, 9:31 am Hi Brian

PL OK. I took a nap and chapter 14 was fixed. If I take another nap I wonder what else might get fixed I guess I'll have to sleep on it to find out ....johnb2 wrote: ↑April 17th, 2024, 11:48 am Hi Brian

That was amazing. I think your reading of the poem, Tommy in the Trenches, within that chapter was fantastic. Well done! I don't know if anyone has done that poem for any of the poetry collections, but either way I think you should submit your version of the poem for one of those collections.
I do have a PL Note for you. It's kind of a nit. I have noticed that your leading silences have gotten progressively shorter with recent recordings. In the case of Chapter 15, the leading silence (0.261 seconds) is only a bit longer than a quarter of a second; it should be at least a half second. If you want me to do so I will extend it to meet spec. Let me know whether you'd rather do that or trust me to do it so that I can give this chapter a well-deserved PL OK.
Thank you,
Brian

Oh, thanks heavens! I was starting to think I might have to swing by for a "wellness check". Flooring strikes me as dangerous work. Did you get all those tiles down without knee and hip replacements? I'll give it a fair hearing after dinner. Cheers.johnb2 wrote: ↑May 1st, 2024, 2:34 pm Hi Brian

I had no idea how you and the author would follow up a chapter that ended as well as 15 did but I think you both did it about as well as it could have been done.
PL OK, for sure.
Take care,
Brian
