Hi John,

It's an outstanding recording, as yours always are. There are two minor misreads.

• 2:26: 'he had brought to manhood' (bottom of page 30) read as 'he had brought to mankind'
• 2:42: 'and the enviable reputation' (top of page 31) read as 'and the inevitable reputation'

I'll go for chapter 6 please. I don't want to be too greedy! Do I sound like I'm 81 y/o? Somebody told me I sounded like a 50 yer old! If I knew I was going to live this long - I'd have taken better care of myself.

No: I have a long, long six and a half years - hey do you remember when you were 4 or 5 or maybe even 6 and that half seemed so vitally important? - to go before I can say that I'm 81 and so I can't say that I know what 81 looks, feels or sounds like but I'd say you sound like, maybe, forty-nine and a half to me.

I think you should start taking better care of yourself this very minute so we can find out if you do sound like you're 81 in another 30 years! Or so.

Chapter 6 is PL OK. Excellent, really.

I know it's a lot for me to ask of you, John, but would you consider treating this as more or less a solo going forward. By that I mean that I'd put you down for the remaining chapters. Frankly, I can't imagine anyone doing a better job on this project than you have done. If you are at all amenable, for the time being, I believe that you could change your mind at anytime and we'd revert to a group project. Please think it over. If the idea appeals to you I would be more than happy to formally keep the role of DPL (unless you'd prefer that someone else PL for you) and I'd be happy to maintain the role of BC (unless you'd rather do that yourself).

I don't think it's selfish of me to ask what I'm asking; I think it would be a treat for LV audio book listeners.

Whatever your decision might be, thanks for considering it.
