Hi, Steve, and good news! Anyone can try a read

Start by recording a 1-minute test. This isn't an audition - it is just for you to make sure your settings match Librivox requirements.

After you get an OK on your test, head over to the forum. There you'll find a bunch of topics that start with "Readers Wanted." You might enjoy starting with a book chapter or short work section. Something short to get your feet wet. Post a message in any of the threads, claiming a section by number.

If you have a question, post it in whatever forum thread you're in, and someone will pop in and help you out.
