Section 2 pl notes:

Oh dear, a teacher of English as a foreign language is jolted by the sound of an adjective where there should be an adverb as in the clause, "each strove to end its neutrality favourably to himself." It's found just a little way down from the mid-point of page 25 and, coincidentally, in the 25th minute of the recording.

25:46 favourable/favourably

Spell check doesn't like the British spelling, but that's too bad.
