After checking with an Admin who has been doing this alot longer than me, here is the advice:
Read it the way it is, as nonsense as it sounds, then describe it as a reader's note of sorts. Something like: "Aki-re-ma foh set-ats de-tee-nu. Lod Ev-if. Note: this is the sentence Five dol. United States of America written backwards."
