Greetings -

Just one tad bit of editing keeps Section 15 from being PL OK,

The audio level is just below our lower limit and needs to be boosted a couple of dB.

Otherwise, definitely PL OK.

Greetings -

A couple of notes on Sections 12 and 13:

Section 12:

TIME: 04:05 TEXT: "To thee waft all my odours!" COMMENT: Odours is read as "color".

The silent period is a bit long and needs to be trimmed by 1.5 seconds or so.

Section 13:

TIME: 08:51 TEXT: "Tell, Oh tell, the meanest creature" COMMENT: Reading sounds like "nearest" instead of "meanest".

Sorry to butt-in but both sections 12 & 13 have the wrong intros as they begin "Section..." rather than the title of the poem.

Aaaargh! :( Mea culpa!

As the instructions say:

"For the second and subsequent sections say:
"Title of Poem. by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, translated by William Edmondstoune Aytoun and Theodore Martin.
This LibriVox recording is in the public domain."
[Optional: "Read by your name."]"

One of those chronologically progressed moments.

Greetings -

alanmapstone has added easily PL OK readings of the first and last sections (0 and 20) of this offering.

I am enjoying these poems even the melancholy ones like "The Doleful Lay of the Wife of Asan Aga".

Waiting to listen to some more.

Hi Ellies
A couple of PL notes on Sections 12 and 13:

Section 12:
For the introduction say The Fairest Flower rather than Section 12
at 04:05 TEXT: "To thee waft all my odours!" COMMENT: Odours is read as "color".

The silent period is a bit long and needs to be trimmed by 1.5 seconds or so.

Section 13:
For the introduction say The Pariah rather than Section 13
at 08:51 TEXT: "Tell, Oh tell, the meanest creature" COMMENT: Reading sounds like "nearest" instead of "meanest".
