I asked my librarian about the noise, and she said, "no one would come here
if they weren't allowed to talk out loud." So I read out loud.

Before I get the MW, there are prefaces and an "Introductory". It is strongly encouraged to read all that is included in the book. Can I add a Section 0 or are you planning on including them starting at Section 1? Just double checking.

Hi, Christine:

Delightful! This is a difficult book and has lots of Asian pronunciations I don't know how to do... And we will need a PL person.

I have 2 prefaces as one section, and Intro in two parts... so yes, a section 0 is good.

A couple things I noticed, comparing this with the already-cataloged project:

1) The previous project (part 2) is named "The Secret Doctrine. Volume I. Cosmogenesis. Part II. The Evolution Of Symbolism." Perhaps it would be good to set this up with a similar project name. (I didn't look at the intros on the other project, but they could probably be similiar.)

2) File names on previous project are symbolism_##_blavatsky_128kb, working off the part name. Since this is "Part I. Cosmic Evolution" in the text, perhaps this one should be evolution or cosmicevolution in the file name? :hmm:

I've set up the MW. Maybe you could comment on my division of the commentaries. They comment on the seven stanzas, but are of unequal length, so I divided them according to length more than by section number. This might be frustrating to a reader who is looking for something specific?
To do otherwise would require more complex section titles....

The system will only let me move it to "On Hold". I will get to this today. So by the end of today we can have it back in Readers Wanted.

This book is an absolute mess.

These are my opinions. Comments on MW:

"to p. 15" is unclear to me. Instead put "read to end of p. 15" or "read to end of p. 14" whichever is correct. Do this with all the other sections as well.

It helps the reader if you put the word count in each Section's Notes. This is easy to do with Gutenberg. I copy and paste into word and use the Word Count function.

Section 4 should be "Stanzas I-III" as its title. This will help listeners locate themselves.

Section 5 should be "Stanzas IV - VII" Also, should be "read to end of p. 66 (not 65)

Commentary Section Titles should be "Commentary on Stanza #" I would split the Commentaries according to the Stanzas. Making parts if the Commentary on a particular stanza is too long (i.e. greater than 9,000) Remember to put in "read to end of page #"

Sections 15 through 17 need the notes to be changed to "read to end of p. #"

Section 18 should be titled Commentary on Stanzas 6 continued and so on.

I've added detail to the Magic Window, and am happy with what's there. The page range should give readers a sense of the length of each section, along with a few word counts. Maybe I'll add more another day when I have nothing better to do....

I like Brrot as abbreviation: daily bread!

Ok. Just one thing. As DPL, I need the sections to say read to the end of p. #. Is that ok? I will make the change in all the Section Titles.
