Around 27:39 - heard "...which gratefully employ the intellectual facilities." should be "which gratefully employ the intellectual faculties."
Around 21:33 - heard "...has done more than any other before him..." should be "has done more than any author before him..."
19:24 - 19:34 - audio has some static during this passage:
"...while intermission of the stimulation gives time for the renewal of the nervous excitability and a consequent liability to fresh stimulation." " There is reason," he tells us,"
Around 7:33 - the M. before "M. Victor Cousin" stands for Monsieur (he had a deceptively non-French sounding name, so I had to double check myself!)
Around 0:30 - missing "Section 1 - AESTHETICAL THEORIES." before the first paragraph.

This section hasn't been proof-listened yet but here are the technical notes for it. Could you resolve them and then re-upload the file before it gets PLed?

• The volume of this track is 98.15dB. LV requires the overall volume for the track (measured by ReplayGain - you can try this tool if you want to check the volume) to be between 86-92dB (with 89dB being the ideal). The easiest way to fix this automatically is to use the 'Loudness Normalization' effect (set to -19LUFS in 'perceived loudness' mode) in recent versions of Audacity before exporting the track as an MP3. If you use RMS normalization, set it to -21dB. Another way to fix it would be to use the Amplify effect set to -9dB.

Hi there! Another very nice recording! I love how sometimes Google translate recognizes the characters from other languages, and sometimes it doesn't. I think it all depends on the condition of the pages lol. I double checked the characters in the Greek alphabet (as I've had to do in some of my recordings for other projects), and they're τo ΚαλOν. I've noted where it popped up in text, and gave a recommendation for pronunciation. There are a few other edits needed please:

Around 24:30 - heard "More physical beauty may..." should be "Mere physical beauty may..."
Around 3:07 - heard "...and the openness is most strikingly..." should be "...and the oneness is most strikingly..."
Around 0:46 - heard "Plato evidently regarded the t6con... " should be "Plato evidently regarded the τo ΚαλOν..." pronounced toe Kale-On (emphasis on the bold syllable).

Once any edits are made, please re-upload the file under the same name and post in this thread so I can do a quick spot check.

PS - I'm totally guilty of naming and projecting feelings onto inanimate objects
