The Sea Mystery, by Freeman Wills Crofts (1879 - 1957)

Volunteers outside the USA: Freeman Wills Crofts died in 1957. This person's work may still be protected by copyright in countries where copyright duration is determined by the author's death date. In Europe this is 70 years; in Canada it is 70 years for authors who died after 1971; and in Australia it is 70 years for authors who died after 1955.
A washed-up crate contains the body of a murdered man. No evidence shows where it comes from or whose is the body it contains. Inspector French has to use his imagination and thoroughness to find a clue and a solution to an ingenious crime.

Section 1 is ready for PL. Note: I did research pronunciations for names and locations, some of which are surprisingly different than their spelling, at least to the U.S. ears of this reader. :)

I noticed all the lovely Welsh place names. I recently read a section in another book that had Welsh towns mentioned. I also went online for pronunciation and I liked one man's comment. He said how it was pronounced and then he said that you, the listener, wouldn't be able to get it right. He was correct on that too :lol:

At any rate, you are off to an excellent start with a well earned PL OK.

Looking forward to finding out what happens next.
