This should be fixed now!
Plus section 10 is up! And geez louEEZE that was a bear of a section to get through... Easily one of of the more difficult sections I've read the whole time I've been doing this. Between French, Latin, Welsh and who knows what else, I'm sure I butchered some of the pronunciations...
I'm certain I recorded that III. I must've deleted it accidentally when I was editing. That kind of thing can look like a sniff of cough just looking at the waveform. Should be fixed now. Also 12 through 16 are up!
Also I'm afraid the rest of the book is comprised of essays. Not sure you are as jazzed about those as the horror/fantasy stories, but there are some interesting ones. Btw, just based on what I know of Machen's sense of humor, I'm pretty sure The Martyr is intended as satire.

That's fine on the essays. I PL all kinds of stuff. One of the things I like about PL is that I get to read/listen to a wide variety of texts, most of which I would never read otherwise.
I had a busy weekend and am behind on PL. As usual, I'll get there.
Waiting for a clever signature line to occur to me.

Yea, I can't say I'm a fan of his socio-economic policies... This is why I usually stick to fiction
Fixed! And the rest of the sections are up as well!
