Section 15
4:38 he gave them first the spiritual food (not: the first spiritual food)

Section 16
5:19 from even the most unpromising conditions (not: uncompromising)
9:56 he can best preserve this spiritual life (not: serve)

It is such a pleasure to get to learn about this tradition by listening to this book!
I'm happy you're enjoying it! :D

Sections 15 & 16 are ready to spot check:

Oh, he really lived up to the title of the book -- Practical Mysticism -- with these two chapters! They really were both very practical!

And the reading sounded great; I noticed just a couple of little things:

Section 17
3:53
Is it not essential (not: it is not essential)

Section 18
0:38
to comport oneself (not comfort -- this is com-PORT, like re-PORT)
8:24 the mind is a charnel house (not: a carnal house... the words are related, but charnel is even more intense: it means dead bodies, so a charnel house is like a mortuary, a place full of dead bodies, eeek!)

Did I tell you I am also prooflistening to a reading of Bambi? I had both Bami and your book to listen to tonight, and they make a very odd pair, but it also makes the whole PL process more interesting that way, having two such totally different books to listen to! :D

Wow, it all went soooooo fast! And these last sections sounded great; just a few tiny things in some of them:

Section 19
all good! (I love the metaphor about the river locks!)

Section 20
7:14
law of periodicity (you lost the "d" syllable in there)
9:28 more from an allegorical point of view (you have an extra "than" in there)

Section 21
2:12
at the equinoctial and solstitial (not celestial: these are the weird adjectives from equinox and solstice, so it's solstitial)

Section 22
all good

Section 23
3:48
call out in him (not: to him)

Chapter 24
1:12
many perished by asphyxiation (not: afixiation)
2:15 soma psuchicon (it would be better if he used this system transliterating the Greek: psychicon -- like psychology, but: psi-kee-kon ... Greek psyche means spirit or soul)
5:46 to be great in the kingdom (not: to be in the great kingdom)

I am so glad I got to read this book, thanks to you! I'll go update the MW now. Almost done!!!

Made the corrections and they're ready to spot check:

We had soma psuchicon before but I couldn't find it, thought I'd saved it.

I'm happy you enjoyed this one!

Wow, Kirk, you did it: another 100% completed project! Whoo-hoo!!!

That was completely fascinating, and I am really glad that this book will now be available at LibriVox, and so well read!

And I am ready to go go go if you have another project coming. The variety of books I have gotten to read thanks to you is a complete delight, and I will be glad for another. :-)

I'm going to take a break and get the bathroom painted. That project has been waiting for about a year now.

I'll get with you Laura when I find our next project. I'm open to suggestions too.

Thank you both for helping with this project.
