Now living peacefully with his young family as an anonymous exile, Don Sebastian has just received word that the queen of England will back his rightful claim for the throne of Portugal. But her help will come with strings attached: the queen wants his only daughter as insurance of his loyalty.

In this final volume of the series, we again have a Gutenberg text for our readings. As it does not include a Table of Contents, I've provided links like we did in volume 3.

For anyone who might want to hear the story up to this point before joining, volumes 1, 2, and 3 are already in the catalog. :D

I'd say this chapter establishes the stakes for this last act of the journey, though!
