This was an interesting chapter by this native of Guadalajara, also known as the City of Fountains, which I visited many years ago. We also visited the lavish palace and grounds that Emperor Maximilian and Carlota maintained in the picturesque city of Cuernavaca. Still, a tragic chapter in the history of Mexico.
One comment on the reading.
5:06 sounds to me like "and the defenders haven't replied. " should read "and the defenders had replied. " Could you please double check me and let me know or correct.

Well, there is just a little "uh" in there, so I've cut it out so it should be clearer now -- had replied.
Thanks for the careful PL!

I listened to it several times and was a bit confused which is why I wanted you to double check me. Thanks for clearing it up. I have marked it as PL OK.

Great job. This is PL OK.

Just to let you know, your volume on this is only slightly above the LibriVox minimum of 86 dB.

Great job with both sections. Both are PL OK.

I confess I enjoyed 4 much more than 3. Loved the humor.
