This section hasn't been proof-listened yet but here are the technical notes for it. Could you resolve them and then re-upload the file before it gets PLed?
  • We need 0.75 seconds of silence at the start of each Librivox track and 5 seconds at the end (or as close as you can make it). I'm hearing about 2.35 at the start and about 4 at the end.
Thank you, I have edited the silence at the beginning and end. Here is the new link:

I'm sorry to say that I need to relinquish my claim on sections 51 and 52 because some scheduling issues have come up.

Please accept my apologies.

I have to say, I would highly recommend any reader taking a few minutes to read this oration. It pertains highly to the reading in of chapters and/or sections, which, realistically, is a form of oration. It's very interesting that, in my opinion, this particular section really does speak to the importance of the role of the reader when bringing to life the printed word, especially those which were originally given in the spoken form as opposed to those which originally were intended to be in printed form from the beginning. For a good, brief summation of the concepts this section imparts, at least read the final paragraph. Your role as a reader is very important.

Just my opinion, but I found this author to have some very great points distilled down and communicated in a form which conveyed the concept quite well. You, the reader, are bringing to life a slice of history which would otherwise be relegated to the dust of time.

Ooosh! I might as well take 51 & 52, too, since they're both Salmon P. Chase pieces.

My eyes are bigger than my stomach! But I do like to keep one author together.

I'll have plenty to do for the next little bit if you grant me all the pieces I've raised my hand for in the last 10 minutes!! Sheesh!

Ulp!
