As I said, this was a great rendition, wonderfully narrated! Even more so when it's your first recording! Any technical difficulties can be gradually overcome! So I hope you'll enjoy recording and produce lots more brilliant audio works!

The last line -- "It was only his body worn to death by the tiresome realities of life." Makes this a Ghost story, but a very gentle one.

You mention that your location is in Canada, and as far as I understand Canadian copyright law, the authors that are in the Public Domain for readers/listeners in Canada are those who died in 1971 and earlier. So you should be OK for this story, the author Mary E. Wilkins Freeman died in 1930.
