One Hundred and One Hymn Stories, by Carl F. Price (1881 - 1948)
Carl F. Price, a pioneering hymnologist, historian, and author, says, "Every real hymn has its story, if only we could discover it." This book takes us behind the scenes with glimpses of the hymn writers to give us just those stories. The hymns range from those from familiar hymnologists such as Charles Wesley and Isaac Watts to earlier writers such as Saint Stephen the Sabaite, and Bernard of Cluny. Here you will find the story behind "A Mighty Fortress Is Our God," "Onward, Christian Soldiers," "All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name," and many more. (Summary by Larry Wilson)

Note for MC:
Because these sections are so short, I've modified the intro to be briefer. I can change this back to the full, long disclaimer if absolutely necessary, but I thought this would give us a smoother recording of this book.

Hi Larry, I will MC. Before I set it up: there is a Preface. Thus, I am encouraging you to include it. It can be in section 1. Just let me know.
Thanks!

I will need to check on this. At least the first one has to be the longer version though. Those damn lawyers!

Right, full disclaimer on the opening which I will read.
This is basically the shorter disclaimer used for solo projects.
For poetry, it is even shorter, but I've been told it can be used only for poetry projects.

I'll go ahead and fill out the MW, but will hold off on claims until we get this clarified.

Oh, so happy about this. :D
The MW is filled out, and an additional reading note added, and a few sections for myself.

I think we can go to Short Works.
Thanks again for your help.

Oh, could you delete the last section for me?

I'll put a claim in for the 90s (90 to 99), but won't record anything until you give the go ahead.

Thank you!

Since I've set a limit of just five sections per claim, I'm putting you in for the first five.
But, once these are in, if the others are still open, you're certainly welcome to take those as well.
