thank you Inkell, I have just now checked Act 1, and most of it is very much ok, but there is a small rule of thumb for when to say the character names and when to leave them out:Inkell wrote: ↑February 19th, 2024, 4:03 pmAct 1: https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/bassettable_stagedirections_1.mp3 (4 mins, 47 secs)

Here are the few spots that I noticed in your first act that were wrong:
> at 1:46: "ladies and gentlemen for the basset table, chairmen, footmen, etc" – this can be cut, instead we need the voice credits for actual speaking roles. Todd has them all marked out in the MW, you should be able to extract them from there, like: 2nd Footman / Sharper / Stranger / Servant / Banker / Officers and others that are not mentioned in the book but in the MW
> at 2:27, 2:53 and 2:58: (p. 203/204) "Lady Reveller, within" – since we assessed who the voice is, we should maybe introduce her here to avoid confusion
> at 2:46: (p. 204) "exit" – "3rd footman" can be cut
> at 3:27: (p. 204) "lady Reveller, aside" – "lady Reveller" needs to be included
> at 3:39: (p. 207) "exit" –"Sir Richard" can be cut
> at 3:52: (p. 207) "lady Reveller, aside" – "lady Reveller" needs to be included, as lady Lucy was mentioned just before, to avoid confusion

> at 4:38: (p. 212) "exit" – "Sir James" can be cut
assuming you made those same mistakes in the next two acts, I will refrain from PLing for the moment. Could you go back and make those changes in acts 2 and 3 before I do the PL, as otherwise I risk needing to write too many PL notes for the same error each time.
thanks
