Thank you. I don't think of Bobby as a fool. I think of him as a good friend to have. But maybe that's because I identify more with Bobby than I do with Tom. Yes, Bobby, needles Tom and that can get on Tom's nerves at times. I'm sure I do a little too much needling of my friends too. Then they tell me to back off and that's fine with me because when it comes down to it I want to be a good friend to them.
PLOK times three.

More Bobby Merritt, please! I wish I could ask the authors for a prequel or sequel or both. I want to know Bobby's back story and what becomes of him after Anne and Tom build their nest.

I think Bobby is transplanted in NYC from the South. I think maybe Richmond VA, or Nashville TN. I'll bet he's following in his father's footsteps and that Robert Sr. was a respected and well-to-do doctor in whatever town Bobby is from. Bobby will probably rise to the post of Chief Surgeon at Mount Rose Hospital but when his father passes on Bobby willl move back "home" - with his New York born wife and kids - to provide the excellent care his father had done over the years. It'll be a tough adjustment for the Merritt's, but they'll make it work!

Am I close?

Thanks for the definition of "loyal fool". Happy New Year!

With his love of flying, I was thinking more of him becoming a flying doctor between the widespread ranches in the American southwest (or maybe Australia or Africa). Inspiration for Sky King perhaps.

Unless he figures out how to play polo from airplanes…. Na, probably not.

Thanks, Todd

Wow, Sky King! That's great. I vaguely recall having a crush on Penny!

May I claim the Flower Snatcher, the Automaton Chief, and the Chief? I'm a bass, and the Chief is described as having a deep voice. (Besides, us basses make good villains.) Just to make sure I've got all the lines: I've printed out
Part 2, page 14
Part 4, pages 9-13
Part 5, pages 8-9
Part 6, pages 8-10
Part 8, pages 18-20

Thanks for your consideration. Dave

Yes, they are yours. You'll make a good villain ... unh ... let's go back to yes, the roles are yours. I'll have to check the page numbers. I'll assign you the roles first. So there'll be another reply to follow. Cheers.

It looks as though Flash Montague is still open. May I claim the part?

Thanks!
