Section 36:
The text is correct and well read
There was some background noise on your recording but I have cleaned this so this section can be marked PL OK! Well Done!
For future recording please try to reduce the back ground noise.
Thank you so much!! I'm new to librivox, but I wanted to do something special to celebrate my birthday, which was the day after Anne Brontë's birthday, so I thought recording a poem written by Anne in the public domain would be fun. I'll look more into becoming more astute with Audacity, though I'm not naturally tech-savvy. If you're interested, I'm also a poet and post on my blog here: https://gracegrowswings.blogspot.com/2024/01/taking-hold-trusting-in-dark-days.html
Blessings, C.S. Griesë

Hi Sophia
Welcome to Librivox
I note that you have passed your 1-minute test
I will reserve section 31 for you.
I need to register you as a Reader. Please let me know what name you would like to appear in the catalogue with your recordings. This can be your forumname, real name or anything you choose.
Thank you! I'd like it to be Sophia please.
Hi
I have registered you as a Reader and assigned section 31 to you. To see your Reader Page click on your name in the Magic Window.
Good Luck!
Hi,
Here is the file uploaded! Please let me know if there needs to be any corrections or edits.
Hi Sophia
Notes on section 31:
The text is correct and nicely read
There are a few technical issues.
- the volume at 83.3 Db is below our acceptable range of 86-92 Db. I have enhance the volume in this case to put it within range. For your future recordings try to make them louder by speaking closer to the microphone or enhancing the volume after recording.
- there is some background noise. I have cleaned this up but perhaps for future recording you could look into ways to reduce it.
So with those changes this can be marked PL OK!
Well Done!

Hi Sabrina
This is very nicely read, you have a clear voice and good enunciation.
The text is correct
There were some technical issues:
- the filename is incorrect, it should be completepoems_46_annebronte_128kb
- the volume is only 73.5 Db which is below our required volume of 86-92 Db. For future recordings try to make them louder by speaking closer to the microphone or enhancing the volume after recording.
I have corrected these issues so this can be marked PL OK!
Well Done!
