This project is now complete! All audio files can now be found on the catalog page for this project https://librivox.org/black-cat-04-01-oct1898-by-various/
The Black Cat (1895-1922) was a monthly literary magazine, publishing original short stories, often about uncanny or fantastical topics. Many writers were largely unknown, but some famous authors also wrote original material for this magazine.<br>
The first issue of Volume 4 sported the following stories: The Lost Jurisdiction, by Ellis Meredith / Jim Crow - Detective, by Stanley Edwards Johnson / Jugganath's Ring, by W. A. Fraser / Long Brown of Esmeralda, by Arthur McEwen / The Passing of Cesare, by Helen Pitkin / The Crowning Moment, by May McHenry

Did you win or did you win? :)

I'm intrigued now, what made you think I would pick this story?

I had a feeling you would like to play a sort of detective in an old film noir, so that title would sound promising to you. I hope it's all you were looking for.

I won !

Congratulations on your win!

I think Lloyd Nolan as Michael Shayne will be a good role model for this!
