FULL[PLAY]The Town Before You by Cowley - thw
I keep thinking that your role is the evil Nazgul.... Maybe cuz I'm involved in The Ring cycle play. Or just that I like hobbits. Who knows?
Anyway, thank you.

Holdfast really got frightened in the end, I loved this last performance.silverquill wrote: ↑January 25th, 2024, 12:50 amHere are two bit parts, Buckram Act 1, and Holdfast Act 5

Buckram is already PL ok.
One small note for Holdfast:
> at 0:11: (p. 76) "I have been watching for him the whole day" - you say "watching him for", which changes the meaning
thank you
Sonia
now isn't he highly dramatic very well played, Rick. I loved all of Asgill's pining and sighing and the overplayed heroism in the end while he was emulating someone like Errol Flynn in his final words. excellent job, and all acts are PL ok.HelloCentral wrote: ↑January 25th, 2024, 12:08 pmHere's Asgill.

it more than helps. Two scene-stealing performances I especially liked that rascal slopseller, he sounded quite shifty not sure I would have bought anything from him. Though I have a PL note for this part:adrianstephens wrote: ↑January 26th, 2024, 3:49 amhttps://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/townbeforeyou_slopseller_3.mp3 0:48

The man in Act 5 is straight PL ok, thanks
Question for Todd: for this first man you write "Asgill's servant", though I think he is more a sort of police officer maybe. Did you maybe want to put "Asgill's servant" in the section for one of the numerous servants, to differentiate. They are confusing enough as it is.
Sonia
Of course, you are right. Very confusing. I fixed the MW, though it doesn't really matter....Kitty wrote: ↑January 26th, 2024, 9:45 am []
