Rudens; The Fisherman's Rope, by Titus Maccius Plautus (254 BCE - 184 BCE), translated by Henry Thomas Riley (1816 - 1878)
A comedy - although with human trafficking. Also a tempest, a shipwreck or two (described by the actors but invisible to the audience - and thus perfectly adapted to an audioplay), a wallet with special trinkets lost at sea, and a special fishing line.... And of course the almost unpronounceable names of antiquity.
(Summary by ToddHW)
This project is complete. Audio files can be found on our Librivox catalog page at https://librivox.org/rudens-or-the-fishermans-rope-by-titus-maccius-plautus/

Here we go again. Plautus's plots are getting more complex - this could be the beginning of what became "The Tempest" in Shakespeare's hands.

Kitty will be Labrax - and I want no jokes that that name looks suspiciously like "Lab Rat" - cuz she is also your DPL yet again. Treat her well, or else....

Gender neutral, of course.
