I'm up for the remaining chapters - 6 and 10.

It's been a while since I've read for Librivox, so I'll have to check systems and settings.

Well, thank you, and welcome back to LibriVox!
I've put you in for these which brings us to FULL

The basics are the same, but quite a bit has changed in formatting, etc.
If you use Audacity, the newer versions have also incorporated changes in layout.

If you have any questions, just ask.

Well done. This is PL OK. Hope they don't run into trouble with the gold miners.

Thanks,

Thank you for your interest in this project.
This is quite a long section to read for someone just starting out, however. I would strongly suggest you try something shorter to test the waters. I would expect a section of this size to take about two to three hours of recording and editing time.

I can still sign you up for this, but I do need to know exactly how you would like to be listed in the LibriVox catalog. This can be your real name, pseudonym, or any nickname/handle you wish. This is how you will be credited for all of your LV work.

Just let me know how you would like to proceed.

Oh, as you will see in the instructions in the head post of this project thread, we expect recordings to be submitted within two months of the initial claim. We do appreciate earlier submissions, however, especially when a project like this is almost full. Just do your best.
Thank you for the suggestion. I understand but would like to try this one. I have a goal, based on my schedule, to submit my recording within one month. If I end up not being able to, I will inform you of my progress.

I would like to be listed in the LivriVox catalog as "A. Jensen".

Thanks

OK, that's fine.
I see you signed up for a poem in another project I'm also reading for. Finish that up, and you'll get an idea of how the process works. I assume Alan added you to the LV catalog.

I've added you in for Section 6, so just click on your name in the MW to view your personal reader page. This is where you can track all of your LV projects of which I hope there will be many!

WELCOME TO LIBRIVOX

Just a quick update, I have it recorded but I've got to edit yet. I was hoping to get to it tonight, but university work calls! I'll hopefully have it up by tomorrow evening.

I've got Section 10 recorded. It comes in at 33 minutes 12 seconds. A test recording passed the Checker.

See what you think:
