My name is Nelly. I'm an ESL teacher from Mexico, and I'm absolutely thrilled to be joining the LibriVox community.

Here's what I'm up for:

Bringing my voice to narrations.
Helping out with proof-listening or editing.
Diving into any project where I can be useful.

I'm a fluent English speaker, but I'd rather work on something in my first language, which is Spanish. I'm all ears for tips and tricks from you seasoned folks, and I can't wait to have a blast recording and bringing more books to life through audio.

Catch you on the forums!"

Hola, Nelly, welcome! We're excited to have you! Many Spanish speakers here, I hope you find a fun looking project on our Readers Wanted thread!
I also recommend finding a short little project or two, maybe a weekly poetry read or something, to dip your toes in and get a feel for how things work before jumping into a bigger project.
Have fun!

¡Bienvenida, Nelly!

Repito, ¡bienvenida! Y haznos saber de necesitar algo de ayuda.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome and your valuable advice. I truly appreciate it. I'll definitely check out the Readers Wanted thread for Spanish projects. The idea of starting with a shorter project like a weekly poetry read is fantastic. It'll help me ease into things and get a better feel for the process.

Thanks again for your kind words and guidance. I'm looking forward to having fun and collaborating with everyone here!
