I think I now understand why these were among the last chapters for which anyone volunteered. This is serious "white man's burden" stuff.

Well, I found that chapter on the depressing side. Makes me glad I live where I live and that I didn't live back then. Too much disrespect for and debasement of women.

Anyway, another great recording and another PL OK.

IMO Zincke is giving England in 1871 an undeserved free pass in the "disrespect for and debasement of women" category. And here in the USA we seem to be racing backwards in that area right now.

Section 24

• please delete about 1 second of silence at the start so that there is between 0.5 and 1 second of silence
  0:20 please delete "chapter 24"
  at the end it should be "end of section 24" not "chapter 24"

Section 27

• this is really section 28 so please change the filename
  please delete about 1 second of silence at the start so that there is between 0.5 and 1 second of silence
  at start it should be "section 28"
  0:22 please delete "chapter 28"
  16:48 should be "end of section 28"

Section 29

• should be section 30 so please change the filename
  please delete over 1 second of silence at the start so that there is between 0.5 and 1 second of silence
  at start it should be "section 30"
  5:15 please shorten silence here so that it matches your other pauses
  16:48 should be "end of section 30"

Section 30
I have bad news for you here. This section has actually been read by another.

I have not yet listened to section 28, which will actually be section 29.

Section 27 has not actually been read.
