This sounds interesting
However, honestly, I think it's a bit early for you to coordinate a group project.

So far, you have completed a single section - and that was 10 years ago. Things have changed a bit here, so I think you'd need a bit more experience with LV before starting a group project and potentially having to deal with newbie questions.

You should complete a few more sections in group projects before starting this; a short solo is also often recommended so you learn the ropes behind the scenes too.

In any case, when you've seen this, I'll move this to our "on hold" section until you have a bit more experience under your belt. Once you did that, we can move it back into the Launch Pad.
Cheers, Ava.

Thank you. I have just posted another project to run. You can move that to on hold too.

I have recorded and am editing an audio file for a different project and will look for other projects to contribute to. If you recommend I solo this project (not Matthew Henry!) I can do that.

If you end up getting back to this, I'd love a ping, I'd like to DPL this book!

I have made several collaborative recordings that have passed PL now but would like to go with my original intent of having this book as a group project. After choosing a new solo project, getting that approved and recorded, I will come back to hosting this as a group project. The solo project I am choosing is relatively short and it shouldn't take but a few weeks to finish it.

Your last post here mentioned a solo you were doing first, but I see you've been working as a DPL, which is also good experience.

If you feel you're ready for - and have the time to commit to - BCing, then I can certainly move the thread back to the launchpad. Here are some helpful tips for BC, which shows what might be expected in the role:
https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Tips_for_Book_Coordinators

If you're not ready just yet, someone else may be willing to start it up as BC, and you'd of course be willing to read or PL if those fit better for you. Would you have any objection to that?
I'll be out for a bit on this last weekend of April, but still checking in as I get the chance. I will try to follow up on Monday, with anything I can't do on the go.

OK, I'm moving the thread back to the launch pad, where the rest of the team assembles.

If you aren't planning to also DPL this book, you can add a tilde (~) to the beginning of the thread title by editing your first post. That way folks know you're looking.

Thank you. Someone asked to DPL. I’m on the road for a couple of days. May be late in responding.

Ah, then moving might have been premature on my part. When you're back and settled in, just post back, and we'll have you on the launch pad again. If we keep it to projects that are ready to start, it saves all the MCs the time in figuring out what a project is waiting on.
Not a lack of clearance, just post when ready! I do recommend reading that link first, if you haven't done so.
