Money, Love and Kate Together with the Story of a Nickel, by Eleanor H. Porter (1868 - 1920)
John Newcomb is broke and looking for work. However, there is a sum of $30,000 waiting for him upon marriage. Mr. Newcomb wants to find love and settle down, but he does not care a great deal about the money, and certainly does not want to get married just for the sake of getting rich. A lovely cast of characters filled with virtue and morality are the forefront of this uplifting tale. (Summary by )

If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Thank you! As it is not on PG, I wasnt sure which text would be best. Will I need to create a new submission with the corrected text URL?

Hi Cece,
I'll MC this for you. I'll send you a PM with instructions on how to access and use the magic window. The ~ has been added to the title of your post to indicate that you need a proof listener.
If you need anything, let me know.
Thanks,
Amy

Thank you so much, Amy! I appreciate it! :) I do have one question about how to do the intros for each chapter since it is technically two stories in one book. Can I separate them by saying "Money, Love and Kate" and then "The Story of a Nickel" for the chapter labels? Or do I need to state the full title each time and say "Money, Love and Kate Together with The Story of a Nickel"?

Hi Cece,

For the first section you have to do it this way: Section (or Chapter) # of Money, Love and Kate Together with the Story of a Nickel. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information or to volunteer, please visit librivox.org." [Optional: "Read by your name."] "Money, Love and Kate Together with the Story of a Nickel, by Eleanor H. Porter. Section Title."
Since this is a solo project for the other sections you don't have to say the book title and author after the disclaimer. "Section (or Chapter) # of Money, Love and Kate Together with the Story of a Nickel, by Eleanor H. Porter. This LibriVox recording is in the public domain." [Optional: "Read by your name."] "Section Title."
In the Section titles you can name them Money, Love, and Kate- Part # or Chapter #.
So in brief, you do have to say the full book title for the intro, but say what story and its part after the disclaimer for all sections other than the first that will need the book title and author said after the disclaimer.
Have fun with it!

Cece, it looks like you need a DPL? I'd be quite happy to do that for you. :)
