Hoosier Mary has not been on the forums since May and has not responded to my PM from 2 weeks ago.

I am orphaning the remaining narrator sections. I'll post to look for a narrator to record these sections. Since these are the only files left to complete this project, I will ask that any volunteer to read the narrator commit to make steady progress and to complete the files within 3 months, so that we can finish this project by the end of 2019.

Thanks to everyone who has read for this HUGE book! And to our super editor, Linny. Looking forward to adding this major DR to our catalog soon . . .

I can read the Narrator, if you don't mind having a male voice for a change:) In that case I'd be orphaning the PLing duties. How about that? :)

Sounds great to me. There are a few chapters from Mary that say "See PL notes". I'm pretty sure I have the corrections in a pickup file she recorded. I'll be jumping back into the editing next week and can tell you for sure.

All was well audible and well-paced.
Differenced I caught which you may find important:
8:02 Peasant 1 AUDIO: in a beast like that. TEXT: WITH a beast like that
20:26 Narrator AUDIO: tall, clumsy, submissive TEXT: tall, clumsy, TIMID, submissive
20:55 Huckster AUDIO: Ivanova TEXT: IvanoVNA (the same in his next line at 21:30)
I'm going to mark this chapter as PL OK. I don't believe the changes warrant finding new readers.

12 is ready for PL: https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/crimeandpunishment_12_dostoyevsky_128kb.mp3 26:24

There are two missing narrator lines but since it's during a conversation I think it will be ok.

16:30 – missing narrator line
Zossimov: "One of her customers must have killed her,"
Narrator: Zossimov declared positively.
Razumihin: "Not a doubt of it,"Narrator: Pyotr Petrovitch asked of Zossimov.

16:46 – missing narrator line
Zossimov: "How does he get hold of them?"
Narrator: asked Zossimov.

Part 2 chapter 6 is all PL OK, athough it sounds a bit strange to have the line ""that all this must be ended to-day, once for all, immediately; that he would not return home without it, because he would not go on living like that." at 1:43 attributed to Raskolnikov, given it clearly says "he" and "him" refering to Rodyon.
Thank you for the perspective. I suppose it's due to the preceding sentence "He did not know and did not think where he was going, he had one thought only:"
I'll mark it see PL notes and let Mary have a listen. Sometimes what's in writing doesn't always translate well in the character breakdowns.
Mary didn't get back to us on this so I'm going to mark 13 as PL OK. It follows the color coding she did so hopefully it's ok. At least all the words are there. :?

Seeing as we have a new narrator, maybe we could consider the suggestions I made regarding Katerina's part on the previous page? :D

By the way, the editing of my final chapter for Katerina is almost finished...

That's the last 'quick' one to edit. Glenn leaves Monday so the next one probably won't be up until after that. I'll post for a PLer for final sections once I get on a role.
