Thanks!
I'm limiting this to 2 selections per reader. Which 2 of the 3 would you like to keep?

Sounds good!

Legends of St Nicholas PL OK! That's the first I've heard of the switch rather than coal. I always figured coal was at least good for burning and keeping the family warm.

Could someone help? I'd like to contribute a story, but I'm unable to login to the uploader. I'm using the same username and password that I'm using (successfully) to login to the forum, but it's telling me it's invalid. What am I doing wrong?

I haven't contributed in a couple years, so maybe I'm "locked out" somehow ...

You'll need to use the generic login/password:

The forum one doesn't work on the workflow/uploader/Magic Window system. :)

(If you ever were a soloist or a BC, you might have had a login for the MW/uploader system. But if that fails, use the generic one.)

Ah, now I see you WERE a soloist at one point. The two systems (forum/workflow) are separate, so you could do "forgot your password" for the uploader, then reset it to your current forum one. Then you'd be able to use the same login/pw on both systems.

Thanks for the quick reply! I HAVE been away a long time, haven't I? :)

Here's a Christmas chapter from The Hollow Tree and Deep Woods Book by Albert Bigelow Paine.

File URL: https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/cswc2022_hollowtreeinn_paine_128kb.mp3

“Christmas at the Hollow Tree Inn” by Albert Bigelow Paine

I made an editorial decision that may not be allowed ... The last paragraph of the chapter talks about Mr. Dog dying and how sad the Hollow Tree People were for a long time. I omitted it because I felt that it would be a "downer" to end a Christmas story that way. If that's forbidden, I can edit the file to include the last paragraph.

I edited my post above to mention a decision I made to omit the last paragraph, which may not be allowed. Please let me know. If it must be included, I can edit and re-upload.
