Good afternoon, Nora May. I'm real glad to see you. I've been watching you coming down the hill and I hoping you'd turn in at our gate.

Surely, that can't be right. I don't think LM Montgomery would make a mistake in her grammer like that!
Unless it's characteristic of the way the person speaks, I'm going to go out on a limb and risk the wrath of Sarah and say that that's probably an error in the text and you can leave out the "I". :-)
Agree - there can be character recognition errors in uploading text - I agree with you that I doubt LM Montgomery would make a simple mistake like that. Nearly every story I've read so far has had simple errors like that, and I just correct them (when I know what they should say!) There was one in the last Sherlock Holmes story that had me stumped for a while though - someone was "snackled"! Took me ages to realize that the upstroke got left off the "h" - should have been "shackled"! 8-)

Hi Sarah, Here is 31 - When Jack and Jill Took a Hand (Jack's part)

http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/sj/lmmshortstories1905_31_montgomery.mp3

note that I did not put the normal ending; just stopped at the end of Jacks part.

19:32 (not that it matters) :D I like Jack and Jill.
"I lost my trousers," said Tom expansively.

I really enjoyed story #4 - Aunt Susanna's Birthday Celebration. I think it might have to do with the fact that the characters are named Anne and Gilbert just like in Anne of Green Gables. Montgomery must like those names. Time of this story is 11:27

I was looking in the test folder in the uploader just now (looking for a test someone forgot to post a link to :-)), when I found story 13 for this project sitting in there. :hmm: Had been uploaded a few hours ago.

I moved it to the correct folder, and here is the link: http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/sj/lmmshortstories1905_13_montgomery.mp3

PL Notes Story 13:

Lovely reading, but it is much, much to quiet. It needs to be amplified, but first there a couple of spikes at 6:53 and 15:41 that should be de-amplified before amplification. If you need any help, let us know. :-)

PL Notes Story 01:

@:27 seconds - The story title is repeated twice. If you could remove the first one, that would be great as there is a slight repeat at the beginning of it.
@:55 seconds - stumble. "Get h..her"
@2:03 There is an awkward pause between two words in a sentence, if you could cut down the silence, that would be great!
@13:08 repeat/stumble - "not a..avow"
@17:16 repeat - "beyond the....the harbor"
@20:50 repeat/stumble - "hi...hide from him"
@23:07 there is an awkward pause between words
@27:20 repeat of "Were"
