PL OK. It might be kind of a frightening story for right before bedtime - it might lead to bad old dreams about being caught in a trap.

Time -- 11:32

Everyone is having a blast with this project! It is a bit of a challenge which we like, and it gives us a little free rein to add a bit of ourselves into it! I may have missed my voices a bit, but I tried! Every day I'm talking with a different voice and people are being reminded how nuts I am! I love it!

Carol -
Could you please trim about 1/2 second off the start of this chapter? Your opening silence is nearly 1.2 seconds long, and it shouldn't exceed 1 second. After that all will be fine. I've marked it See PL notes until then.

Roller skates don't seem to be an ideal toy for woods or ponds.

I don't know how I missed that, but it's an easy fix. Wouldn't a bear have two pair of ice skates? What do I know!

...And now, with great sorrow, I say good-bye to Toodle, Noodle, and gang with the last of my assignments. (sniff, sniff)
(Unless of course, I messed up somewhere and have to edit this file).
I think I need to practice my beaver lisp. Yeah, it's non-existent... my natural 'ol gruffy will just have to do. :)

Anyway, Chapter 25:

Length: 10:11

And thank you Phil, and team, for picking such a great and fun Children's Book!

Carol-

Thank you for trimming the beginning of the chapter, it is now PL OK. By the way, the overall volume for this chapter could have been about 1.5 dB louder - but it is well within the LibriVox limit.

Funny you should mention bears and ice skates - both are in the other chapter that arrived last night. See my next post.

You won't need to do any re-editing on this one. Chapter 25 - Toodle and Noodle on the Ice - is PL OK.
There's no need to feel bad about having completed chapters - there are still just a few books not yet in the LibriVox catalog. LOL. Phil may have another Howard R. Garis starting up as soon as this one is complete. We'll see you around - I mean, hear you.

Two things need to be fixed:
1) The file name should be toodleandnoodleflattail_08_garis_128kb.mp3
2) The overall volume is outside the LibriVox range. If you amplify the whole chapter by 3 dB - which is about as much as you can without causing clipping) - it will be within the range.

Your reading itself is just fine.
