Well, quite. This is what I was taking so long at the beginning trying (unsuccessfully) to engineer out...

This recording of section 73 has been logged in MW as section 72 and marked PL OK. :help:

Ooops

Should be right now other than section 72's wordcount. Thanks for spotting that.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! I don't know what type of English that is, but it's fun to read! Sign me up for the next one too, please (Section 8, The Eighth Constable's Story) I'll have seven to you in a day or so.
Thanks,
Brize

As promised, attached is section 7:

https://librivox.org/uploads/mightyfelix/thousandnightsandanight12_07_anonymous_128kb.mp3 (length 7:47)

I haven't heard back about my request for section 8 (just above). Please advise that it's mine and I'll get started. It's fun to read, all English of course, but phrasing seems backwards or old fashion or something.

Thanks,
Brize

Hi Alan -

Just getting to recording some more of my assigned sections and I noticed when scrolling down there are some short pieces between Fourteenth and Fifteenth Constables that are not in the MW. There might be more - I just happened to notice these two.

Do you want me to record them for you? They are:

A Merry Jest of a Clever Thief.
The Tale of the Old Sharper.

The other option is they could be added onto the recordings of the person who did the Fourteenth Constable (not me).

EDIT: After the Eighth Constable there is:

The Thief's Tale.

Which is also not in the MW. Happy to record that one too for you or it can be asked of the person recording the Eighth Constable to add it to their recording too.

That looks to be all the "stories" other than Constables 1-16

Yes, I am the person who REQUESTED the eighth constables story, and would be glad to tack on the Thief's Tale as well. When I get a notice that the Eighth Constable's is mine, I will inquire about the 'Thief's' as either a separate file or an addendum.
Thanks.
