Thanks, Rich. Burroughs does know how to end a chapter.

Should have the next chapters up shortly - in the home stretch now!

At 17:38 I hear a door slam in your recording - just before the words "As Janzara realized...".
I believe that sound can be edited out cleanly. With that the chaper would be perfect.

Chapter 20 PL coming up.

In chapter 20 I hear a similar thump to the one in chapter 19 - this time at 5:25. Again, I think it could be edited out pretty easily. (If you edit out the noise, edit in a similar amount of room noise - I think the timing in the sentences just right as they are. or try an Audacity [ctrl]-L "silence audio selection".)

Again, the rest of the chapter is perfect. If you don't want to go back and edit these I'll give them a PL OK, so it's your choice.

I will go ahead and edit out those noises... Thank you for catching them. Will re-upload once they are cleaned up.
Thanks!
Matt

With just 2 chapters to go Edgar Rice Burroughs is starting to wrap up things. There's the romance between Talaskar and Komodoflorensal to resolve. Princess Janzara needs to find sanctuary - somewhere away from her dad. And Tarzan still needs to find his ring. And, oh yeah, Tarzan needs to grow back to his normal size and get home.

In chapter 21 there is a missed edit at 8 minutes. "And he, in turn, recognized his captor" begins and is then repeated. Everything else is fine.

In chapter 22 your first word - "Chapter" - is very close to the beginning. Audacity, which on my machine always takes a fraction of a second to gather its wits before making sound, doesn't reliably play the word chapter (even tho it's plainly there when played with VLC or other MP3 players). Could you please splice a bit more silence onto the beginning - bring it up to about 1/2 second - and upload again. Then chapter 22 will be fine as well.

Burroughs waits until the very last sentence to tie the final bow in this story. I'll wait for your two uploads and then we'll be ready to add Tarzan to the LibriVox library.

Thanks for catching those - with the number of edits I do in each chapter, I'm surprised it took me this long to miss one.

Congratulations Matthew! All 22 chapters in Tarzan and the Ant Men are now PL OK. Now we can hand it off to our MC Diana for the final publication steps.

Thanks for reading this exciting and entirely-believable book to me (and others).

(I still think "Komodoflorensal" sounds like a toothpaste ingredient. My sympathy goes out to whichever peon in the typesetting department at Grosset & Dunlap who had to type that name 211 times.)
