COMPLETE-Jerusalem to Revelations-Quartet of Spiritual Exp-a
Noise reduction done. That was a curious one. I took that bit from another file I'd started then abandoned as the window cleaner came - can't let people know what I'm doing. Only I wasn't using headphones to listen and the need for noise cleaning wasn't apparent. Could get new headphones - or maybe retire? We'll see. Speaking of which - just had a cataract op tnat went well. However - eyedrops four times a day in my eye for two more weeks so there may be occasional eye issues. Corrected file in:

I use ear buds and usually listen to files with an mp3 player that has a strong bass. You're right though the sound was barely audible when listening on my computer without buds. Some friends have been very happy with their vision following cataract surgery. One I recall stopped wearing reading glasses.

49:55-50:05 delete repeat, "the gods..."
file is in stereo and perhaps that explains the slightly lower volume (85.8dB) as one track has a very low volume. I checked and the other files are all mono.
Traveling so I've been a bit behind in my PL duties.

This is a technical problem I can't fix. It states it's recorded in Mono on my Audacity, the volume sounds fine and the ReplayGain is fine. What else I can do I do not know. Is this something Amy should be asked about? (Going to sleep now.)craigdav1 wrote:41
The repeat has ben deleted but the file is still stereo and has an average volume of 85.8dB (one track is much lower).

Hi Tony,
Are there two tracks when you see it? If there are you can do this: Edit->Select-> Select All then Tracks-> Stereo Track to Mono. That may fix the amplification, too.
Thanks,
Amy
p.s.-If that isn't it, I can give it a try. Just let me know.

Select said In All Tracks Contorl and Shift and K. I tried that and it seemed to shift, but I don't KNOW. I'm sending that file here on site in case it's not fit for the MW.

I can't see two tracks on my screen. I had a feature, I don't know if it was this track, where a second track did magically appear - I copied the good track into another screen and hoped for the best. I don't know, as I say, if that was this track.
All the best,
T.
