I'm going to be away from LV for a while. I have had some serious family things come up and LV is to much at the moment.

Section 26 is complete:

http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/sj/unclewiggilyinwoods_26_garis.mp3

Time: 05:21

I've got a new mic so it may sound different. I normally have to do noise reduction but I didn't this time. Let me know if you have any thoughts.

Hello,

I'm a new reader and this would be my first reading. I'd like to read chapter 14 - Uncle Wiggily and the Pine Tree please. As for my LibriVox Catalogue name, you can use Lisa Tsen.

Thanks!

Hello and Welcome to Librivox, Lisa!
I'm sure you'll love it here.
Now you have your test approved, you are ready to record.

This is a good project to get your feet wet. Each story will be under 10 minutes, I'm guessing; and they are delightful children's stories. I have assigned chapter 14 to you in the Magic Window. Make sure to read the first post - all the info you need is there but if anything doesn't make sense, just ask. The wiki has lots of good info (link at the top of any page) if you run into difficulties; also one of our admins has developed some very helpful videos if you are more of a visual person - you can access them via the Need help? forum.

Once you have uploaded your file, post the link here (together with the time in mm:ss e.g. 11:23) and Halle, our DPL will proof-listen and give you feedback. Fixes are usually fairly straightforward 8-) Then you will be free to claim more chapters (the only restriction being how many you can complete in a 2 month period).

I have entered you into the catalog, and here is your page: https://catalog.librivox.org/people_public.php?peopleid=8426 As you can see, we can add the URL to a personal website or blog. You can access the page by right clicking on your name in any Magic Window and it is a good way to keep track of what you have signed up for.

Have fun.
