I'm listening to Rosenstolz a lot at the moment, especially that song:

Couldn't find a link to the song and the vocalist really just speaks the words, but those with various music accounts can check this out ... either way, the lyrics are really the more important thing for us... here.

You mean people listen to things other than LV stuff just kidding I listen to a lot of hymns, not really anything else when it comes to music. Occasionally I will listen to to some classical, but not often. Most of it is CDs made by people from my church, or connected to it, like this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQIMDRuyaK8 and another family, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNP0GVoKNyA there are quite a few and most of them are family's and here is another of the Blunkall familyhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3h8D-JvCdo

Today one of my favourite vocalists joined my favourite band.
Floor Jansen, who in recent months has been filling in for Anette Olzon as the lead vocalist of Nightwish, will stay with the band on the permanent basis. This is going to be a great combo.
Here's Floor singing "Ghost Love Score", Nightwish's most ambitious composition to date. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3brcfttchzA

I'm absolutely hooked by baroque music. Anyone else?
This is one of my all time favourites: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAwjQbHZHXo
"Benché mi sprezzi" from Tamerlano by Händel, sung by Max Emanuel Cencic.
Ignore the picture. And in case you wonder: Yes, this is a man singing.

Me, too.
I live in constant wonder at (and, as an alto, envy of) Alfred Deller singing Purcell. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trOXaDeFeD4

Hokuspokus and RuthieG, I agree with you both.
But here's the most heart-stoppingly beautiful male alto singing I can ever remember hearing:

(It doesn't hurt that Robin Blaze is singing "Es ist vollbracht" from the St John Passion).

Deller! So great!
Would love to hear the Purcell concert Jaroussky did together with Scholl. Must have a look if they made a CD from that.
I've never heard Robin Blaze before. Beautiful voice! Looked around a bit and found his Pur ti miro: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eA7aDYflc4
Completely different from this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SuzLj2aoys
But my most favourite is this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KjVPqcMcCg

Country pop duo (married couple) called Thompson Square
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thompson_Square
Two videos from their recent album caught my ear & eyes. They're sort of a new wavey Patsy Cline and Charlie Dick.
"If I Didn't Have You" and "Everything I Shouldn't Be Thinking About".

Well, I was listening to the Hot Rats, who're based in Rochester -- Dickens' Cloisterham. Here they are playing in front of Cloisterham Cathedral, their music sounding a lot more funky than Jasper's would have; besides they're refraining from murder:

Then I listened to some Mussorgsky.
Then some Sibelius -- dark, brooding, vodka-powered stuff. Winter is closing in.
