Recording in one session is ideal because, as you say, your tone of voice will be the same. But if you record in the same location, it will usually be close enough so that you can join the two sessions.Zakaria wrote: ↑February 25th, 2024, 1:16 pm Hello, I want to claim a chapter of this book, but I have some questions as I'm new here:
1. Do I have to send the entire section in a single file? I don't think I can record that much (15 pages) in one night and if I record multiple times maybe I can't use the exact same tone in my voice?
2. Do I have to do some editings before sending the file ? like noise reduction... or I send it raw?
If your 1 minute test had noise reduction etc. then do the same things for all the files you submit.
Hope you can join us!

I've just noticed that you've assigned this to "ghaelen" not "haelen".

Good morning, My apologies but I just realized an error that I made in the intro for Section 16 - Inanimate Objects. I said "The Aesthetic, Part 3"...it should read "Part 2". I just realized this as I'm starting Section 17 which is Part 3. I will re-record the intro for you. Again, my apologies!

Hello again - I have a question regarding the footnotes on pages 187 and 188 of Section 16. I'm not sure if that is a continuation of the same footnote (so I should read both sections of the footnote before I go on to the next page)? Or read the first part of the footnote at end of page 187 and next part of it at end of page 188?
Thank you for your expertise,
Deb

It looks like it's two separate footnotes to me. If it's split across multiple pages, then read it continuously but in this case, I don't think it is.dshieber wrote: ↑February 27th, 2024, 8:47 am Hello again - I have a question regarding the footnotes on pages 187 and 188 of Section 16.
