(I was wondering if this game accepts English Words from Every Variation of the Language.

For example,will both Colour(British English) and Color(American English) be legal in this game?)
No problem. :thumbs:

Can I get away with
WHATABOUTISTICALLY=18?
"Whataboutism" now appears as a word in online dictionaries, and this construction seems grammatically congruent with "realistically" and "impressionistically," which are listed, but... I have no good sourcing (actually, no sourcing at all) for this word itself. Glad to step aside for anyone with a solid 18-letter W word.

I've just checked and "Whataboutism" made it into language sometime in the late seventies. I don't know if it's made its way into"official" dictionaries, though, as I don't have any recent editions with me here.

I find your rational for contributing it interesting. On the other hand, the word you suggest would be an adverb, derived from a noun and I don't know whether adverbs can be formed from nouns. Any thoughts here, anyone?

Meanwhile, just in case, I'm still trying to find an 18-letter word starting with W. I even tried lists of Australian and Canadian place names, to no avail. :shock:

The first post says "Only real words". (Come to think of it, I don't think "weatherstripping" takes an S...)

(Mission accomplished, Wayne. It WAS difficult! :lol: :lol: :lol: )

I believe it's time for Joanna to present us with a new letter. :D
